Overview
To gain access to the .CO Registry system, all Registrars must complete an accreditation process. This involves signing the .CO Registrar-Registry Agreement (RRA) and activating your account.
Before You Begin
- You do not need to deposit funds before signing the RRA Agreement.
- You do not need to complete OT&E testing before accessing the production environment.
- Once your account is activated, you have immediate access to the production Registry.
Accreditation Steps
- Email support@registry.co to request accreditation for the .CO Registry.
- Review and sign the .CO RRA (Registrar-Registry Agreement).
- Receive your Registrar ID and credentials.
- Log in to the Registrar Console at https://registrar-console.registry.co/ to complete your account setup.
- Configure your IP Access List for EPP and FTP access.
- Optionally, use the OT&E environment at https://registrar-console.ote.registry.co/ to test your systems before going live.
What Happens After Accreditation
Once accredited, you will be able to register, renew, transfer, and manage .CO domain names on behalf of your customers. You will have access to the Registrar Console, EPP server, and FTP server.
